Partridge Wyandotte Bantams
Partridge Wyandotte Bantams come in two types - Pullet
Breeders and Cock Breeders. For the people who dont know the difference between the two i will try my best to
explain as simply as i can. Partridge is produced best when Double Pen Mated so you have Pullet Breeders and Cock Breeders,
the Pullet Breeder's produce Exhibition Pullets and the Cock Breeder's produce the Exhibition Males.
I was very happy when i had the chance to get a Exhibition
Partridge Male (Lemon Hackled) from my freind Grant Brereton, i showed him at the Scottish National with a few other birds
and got Best Partridge Wyandotte Male, so was over the moon!
My Pullet Breeders originate from Geoff Parker who is a Top Breeder of Partridge
and Silver Pencilled.I probably wont have any eggs to spair from these birds
as i will be hatching most of the eggs myself, but if you get in touch i will update you on what i have available. At the
back end of 2009 i should have a couple of Breeding Pairs/Trios for sale, so dont hesitate to get in touch.
I also have a nice Dutch Pullet Breeding Male which i have bred some nice
birds from, so hopefully will have some nice 'Dutchy' Typed birds to take over to the Oneto Show in Holland in December.
There are a few pictures below of the Partridge Bantams, and some more in the
Photo Album.
